A shy Arabian gelding peers out from an adobe stall at Quartermill Farms in Galisteo, New Mexico. The barn's thick walls offer a cool respite from the intense New Mexico sun. Located on a dusty road just south of Santa Fe, the farm is home to several Arabian horses that thrive in New Mexico's high desert environment. Although curious by nature, this horse opted to avoid the attention and retreated to the solitude of his comfortable stall. |
